Her name was Gretchen Van Wagenen and her father was Bernard F. Van Wagenen born in Globe, AZ. His father was Garrett S. Van Wagenen and had a publishing firm in Globe in the 1880's but born in NY. We lose the trail after that but are hopeful that perhaps he is a descendent of Gerrit Aertsen. We would love a copy of the geneology when you have time.
